The Olana in Hickory Creek feels like a little piece of the French countryside in North Texas. The architecture and manicured grounds give the entire day an elevated, European feel, and there’s no shortage of beautiful places for portraits.
The Hillside Estate is a great option if you want something grand without sacrificing natural light. The high ceilings, large windows, and open spaces photograph beautifully and give us plenty to work with both during the day and into the evening.
Artspace111 in Fort Worth is a completely different direction. If you’re looking for something modern and artistic rather than traditional, this working art gallery has plenty of personality built right in. The artwork, clean lines, and natural light create a gallery-like feel throughout the day.
Trinity River Audubon Center is one we’d recommend to couples who want their wedding to feel removed from the city. The wooded grounds and prairie make for beautiful portraits, especially around golden hour, and the natural setting gives the photos a really relaxed feel.

Tour your venue at the time of day you’ll actually be getting married.
A venue can look completely different at noon versus 5pm, especially when you’re thinking about ceremony light and portraits. If photography is important to you, it’s worth asking where the sun will be during the parts of the day you care about most.
